Cloud computing for corporations – Part 4 (Collaborating on Marketing Materials)

Moving over finance, Marketing is another area which could immensely benefit from Cloud enabled systems. Putting together a catalog requires data from several different departments. For example, effective direct mail campaign benefits from marketing, sales, and fulfillment input. Online PR needs participation from marketing, product, and technical staff.

Moreover, when it comes to creating marketing materials, usage of web based applications would be the best approach to comfortably collaborate between different departments and would also ensure proper and hassle free management of the supply chain system and personnel involved.

The required marketing materials, the cash needed for the same, and the approval or disapproval for the same from the management can all be logged into the same system and can be accessed anytime anywhere, thus reducing the time lag and also eliminating communication gap between various parties involved.
